Nitro Offroad Announcements

As mentioned in a previous post yesterday the tracks are supposed to make some changes for the RC Pro event.
Bossier City hauled dirt in 2 weeks ago to make track changes for this event. The day after the dirt was dropped it started raining. I'm sure everyone has seen the weather reports and how much rain has fallen between Louisiana and Chicago in the last few weeks? Because of this they have not been able to change the track. The track has been soaked basically for the last 2 weeks this week it is starting to dry up and the forecast for this weekend is looking good so we should be ok. Today and tomorrow they are going to work on getting the new dirt that was dropped on the back section of the track out of the way so we can race. Who knows they may still be able to make a few changes but if I were in that situation I would concentrate on just making the track ready to race on.
I'm sure someone will complain to me but hopefully everyone will understand they couldn't work on the track when it was a mud bog.

Carlton, thanks for putting on a great race program, as usual, in spite of the challenges with the initial track conditions. I'm sure everyone understands about the weather preventing a track change, and it was a great track layout, a lot of fun to run. I just wish I could have bottled some of that traction and brought it home with me... what a great track surface!
