2010 Finals

I've had a few questions about the Finals this year and realized we have a number of racers coming for the 1st time so here is the rough schedule until we get a final count on entries then I will post a more accurate time schedule.

October 25th - Track build
October 26th - Semi Controlled Practice (see below) 11am - 10pm
October 27th - Semi Controlled Practice (see below) 8am - 10pm
October 28th - Qualifying for All truck classes & E Buggy plus lower mains (C and below)
October 29th - Qualifying for All Nitro Buggy & lower mains (C and below)
October 30th - A & B main for all classes

Practice - 15 on the stand for 10 minutes - clear the stand and go marshall - 15 more etc. This gives your the chance to practice when your ready instead of waiting for a couple hours for your turn. Practice will be broke up into Buggy - Truggy so like vehicles are on the track at the same time.
Practice heats are the last resort but usually means not having a full stand so we try to avoid using this method.
Thursday & Friday morning there will be an hour of practice for people who have not practiced ANY CLASS. Meaning this differs from a division race you cannot practice one class all day then your other class in that hour on one of those mornings. This is for the people who weren't lucky enough to be able to get off work etc.

We have 2 divisions that have finished so far and we will open entries for the top 12 in each class for each of those divisions August 24th on rcsignup.com. Please signup in the appropriate division! A cutoff date will be listed on the signup and once it comes around we will see how many open spots are left and alternates will be allowed to signup at that time for the appropriate division.

I WAS TRYING TO SETUP THE ENTRY FOR TODAY AND SOMETHING HAPPENED ON RCSIGNUP SO LET ME GET IT FIGURED OUT AND HOPEFULLY i CAN HAVE IT UP TOMORROW. SORRY ABOUT THAT.

South round 3 - Finishline RC

I'm sure everyone has been watching the weather for this one? The distrubance in the gulf projected path now has it going east of Lafayette which would put us on the dry side of the disturbance.

The track is prepared for a chance of rain and the current projection leads us to believe we will be okay so the race is still on!

Northeast Round 2 - Blue Diamond RC Raceway

The race at Blue Diamond for this weekend is still on! Weather forecast is looking better now with varying chances of scattered showers. Unless something changes drastically today everything is a go.

Midsouth Rd 2

As some of the Midsouth racers know the city of Flowood is shutting down the Trackseekers track. They have gotten clearance to host the RC Pro event and it looks like that will be the last event for that location. The club will be relocating the track for future use.

So if you haven't been to the track yet this is your last chance to go.

Sorry guys I got behind on posting results with all the health issues for myself and my Dad that have been going on around here this month. I don't have a backup person to handle those if something keeps me from doing it.
I think I have all the results posted now and have some press releases to do as well as the points for a couple divisions that have already ran their 2nd rounds.

I'm also working on fliers for the next group of races.
