Midwest Round 1
Tue May 12, 2009 10:30PM
The Midwest round 1 event has been postpone due to flooding at the track. The club and RC Pro feel if the track could be repaired the parking would be a muddy mess. We all want everyone to come have fun and not have to deal with mud to start with.
The rescheduled date is June 19th-21st.
If you are not able to make that date and have already paid your entry for this weekend please contact Colton Keifer for a refund. cjkiefer@kieferdesigns.com
South Round 3

Based on the entries filling so fast for both Round 1 and Round 2 for the South we will not open entries for Round 3 until July 1st. This will give the racers a chance to be sure they can make the race.

2009 South Round 1 Race Review
Tue Apr 28, 2009 4:42PM
RC Pro South Round 1
The season kick off event for the Southern division took place this weekend at N Control RC in Austin Texas. The track crew put together a very challenging layout for this event but even with a high degree of technicality the track was still blazing fast. Practice day came with a lot of dust but on qualifying day the blue groove was developing into what would be a black groove by end of the event on Sunday. The newly bricked Bowl Turn finished with black almost all the way to the top of the turn! Normally this type of track is hard on tires but tire wear was reported as very low for the event.
The turnout for this event after the normal no shows were taken out came in around 250 which provided a lot of close racing in all classes.

Permanent number info
Thu Apr 23, 2009 4:01PM
It has taken us a while to rebuild the permanent number database from last year but we are now updating the number page and David Lovett is helping to assign the numbers while I'm attending events.
Permanent numbers are required on your car. Each racer will have until their 2nd event to have them in place. These numbers are important in identifying your vehicle on the track as well as in tech.
We recommend our Graphix Sponsors if you need to have some numbers made. If you have not reserved a number please go to the link in the menu for permanent numbers and submit your request.
